“Little boxes made of ticky tacky and they all look all the same…”

Spring has sprung, The birds are literally chirping beside me, the sun is beating down, cool fresh breezes of air are rushing over the keyboard with every stroke, women are in their bikinis looking great! And if you live in a neighborhood like mine, the area yard work has started, wifes have begun naggi… asking their husbands to do their landscpaing chores (or they better be prepared to build a dog house cause thats gonna be your home for the remaining weeks). You’ve possibly even started stalking your neighborhood Home Depots, Lowes and local Greenhouses for their nightly deliveries of fertilizer, hay, bed rocks, raping and pillaging their stockpiles of perennials and annuals and we cant forget to replace those pansys that either your “precious pup” or the mangy mutt accross the street ruined!
Either way Tis the season for thosee “Friendly” wars between our neighbors where we try to battle it out and “One Up” each other either with the purchase of fancy ornaments, As-Seen-on-TV gadgets that guarantee those perfect Tomatoes, Cucumbers or Herbal gardens that no matter how lazy you are or attention you give (or lack thereof) you’ll receive fresh, ripe crop for the picking. But God forbid you put out a outdoor fireplace, cause your neighbor gets a pre-ordered one from Germany that runs off the souls off babies, and is sure to be illegal in all of 49 states, well except yours!
But you will never forget that day…. the ONE day that happens when you get the upper hand, the one day where you “One up” and STRIKE FIRST!! I just experienced my day. we just had our grass cut today by the landscaper, the moment they left i walked my dog and noticed the neighbor walking inside their garage with a tape measurer! I kidd you not this ALWAYS happens, yes they measured the difference between our two lawns.
We’re talking about people who have in the past years taken SISSORS a yard stick and went on their hands and knees clipping the out of place grass blades. One day i expected to see Wayne Szalinski-esqe contraption hovering over the lawn.

I sincerely do not care, but i can’t help but pass up a chance is piss a person off especially when it’s this easy.

What’s the best part you ask? My landscaper finished just at 1 o’clock, so anyone who has ever cut grass know it’s stupid and completely niave to cut grass past 12 let alone 1 the sun is too hot….. So yes i get one FULL day of basking in their misery! i know they are twisting and rolling around pissed… because my grass is exactly 1 and a half inches shorter than theirs! (Yes I measured too, lol) I pulled a tiger woods after making the putt at the masters, YES!!!!
(literally shouted it) felt so great i started humming and singing You’re Gonna Fly Now! and Started waving my hands in the air like Rocky after climbing the 72 front steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art in Philadelphia!!!

I even sit writing this ON my freshly cut lawn, im in pain and agony because of my serve allergies to pollen, but their misery is the best pain reviler ever!
Ahh the smell of freshly cut grass!
So I havn’t blogged in a REALLY long time (about two months) so I’ve decided to take a break from coding a fun new project from a slew of PSA (Public Service Applications) my first one is Don’t Forget to Tip! it’s a web app that i decided to make to help you decided what to tip based on the type and quality of service provided!
Right now im laying here taking a break form our Star-Trek-A-thon thinking about the newest iPhone! About 3-4 months ago I wrote a blog post “The iPhone is Dead.” Talking about if the Apple doesn’t make MAJOR improvements to it’s phone well it’s gone and dead, atleast in my eyes. it wouldn’t go away cause there’s Apple Fanboys that will always buy it no matter what, but as far as those folks who purchased it, like myself, because it was and still sorta is the best phone on the market.
However with the recent release of the new HTC Supersonic, Nexus One, HTC HD2, EVO4G are miles ahead of the iPhone, sure i still love the OS… but after toying with a couple android phones… OMG AWESOME! loved it! especially the cloud storage, overall gui aspects (though i love iphone more, it’d be nice to see a combo) and some other cool stuff i just can’t think of at this moment.
With out further a due my list of expectations (in nospecific order):
*BTW most of these have recently been confirmed via engadet and WSJ
I know some of these are me just asking for too much from current technology but hey im shooting high and expecting low!
Why don’t i just get an Android powered phone now?
Cause i know…. HOPE Apple will rerevolutionize the smart phone industry again.

I’m really tired of this movies that take advantage of the people. This is why i RARELY go to see a movie, why bother when i can wait for it to come on cable or if i really wanted to be “evil” just download it. I’m tired of Trailers lying, or really movies lying, if you say it’s based on a true story, mother freaking base the damn thing on a true story. Example one, The Fourth Kind - Trailer:
If you’re anykind of believer in the supernatural, aliens, visitors from another world and etcetera; you find a GREAT interest in learning or experiencing stories, first-sightings, or really anything pertaining to the subjects in any form Tv, books, news articles and especially movies!
Once I saw the trailer for this movie i was intrigued a movie about abductions with “so-called” real footage, awesome! Even the actor lied….. ok ok ok, i know thats really the part of a movie actors lying to portray a character or image, feelings, emotions, actions and the such. Hell i know Bruce Willis didnt take down a building full of terrorists like in Die Hard… But he looked freaking awesome doing it.
The difference between Bruce Willis and Milla Jovovich is that She actually said, mind you in a very poorly edited manner, that the things we were about to witness were based on REAL footage, stories, and first sightings and the such.
“I am Actress Milla Jovovich and i will portray Dr. Abigail Tyler” … a psychologist … She warns us that what we are about to see is “very disturbing”, and the director has edited the real footage along side the actors.
i thought this was a very neat idea, we would get to see the actors act out the SAME exactly scene that actually took place during her sessions with her patients.
The movie continued….
…..
By the end of the movie i was completely nauseated by the poorly editing film and the campiness of the “real” footage the montages of real spliced with acting just became gut wrenching to the point that i really wanted to stop the film before i threw up… think of a rollercaoster you’re being forced to ride for an hour and a half…. worse than Cloverfield and thats bad.
At the end Ms. Jovovich graciously said I “had the choice to decide what to believe.” And i decided to do alittle research. it was fake. ALL OF IT WAS FAKE!
Let me get this out there I’m a BIG CONSPIRACY THEORIST! You tell me Baseball ticket stubbs have a tracking device in them, im burning mine. (ok that’s an exaggeration but still)
The FBI has been to Nome, Alaska over 2000 times, but contrary to the movies ending they HAVE come to many conclusions to alot of the disappearances, OVER 250 are alcohol caused, which makes sense, one of my friends spent an ass load of time in Alaska, and there aint to many girls there, so what are you gonna do? get drunk! and drink, and drink, and drink, till you wander off and die cold and abandoned in the wilderness of Alaska. More of the other disappearances are believed to be caused by a Serial Killer to has admitted to over 200 killings, who knows maybe more.
I’m not saying that there are not Aliens, i’m just saying this movie is a piece of malarkey, and it’s really disappointing that you slap the title of “Based on a True Story,” and show “Archival Footage” in any piece of Modern Hollywood Crap and it becomes believable by Americans.
Why lie to your audiences? why say it’s based on a real story…. you know why? because if you advertised this piece of crap as a Sci-Fi Film it wouldn’t have reached the Box Office Numbers it did not even close because the story is horrible, and acting is mediocre because of the extremely poor and shakey editing/camera movements.
You lie because YOU can not come up with an original story of your own so you have to sucker people in to theaters to rape them of an hour and a half of their time and money.
It’s a Shame.
Movie rating 4/10
And Yes I believe!

If you believe in Astrology as much as I do i just wanted to share what I am, might be a good preview of what this blog will be about… And i think it’ll be a great topic to blog about in the next coming month.
By the way; What’s you views on astrology? does yours match what you are? is it even close?
This is my birth chart, not only does it give me my astrology of my birth sign but when you put in your location of birth and time it gives you (atleast in my case and my personal beliefs) EXACTLY who you are….
For reference:
sun sign, moon sign and ascendant sign. The sun sign is the most general information in horoscope. However you should make special note of your ascendant (Asc), also called rising sign. Never forget your rising sign as it give you more in-depth information about yourself. The Moon sign is also important as it reflects your emotions and intuitive side of your nature. In the Old Astrology, the Moon sign was a lot more important as the more general Sun sign.
This is myself:
Sun in SagittariusSun Semisquare Venus
Gentle charm and personal magnetism. There is a natural sense of discrimination and beauty which excels in music, drama, dance or any artistic profession. There is a love of making connections which is welcomed in social scenes of all kinds and gives easy popularity. Fosters aesthetic leanings with an appreciation of cultural matters. Sensual and refined with a tendency to be easy-going and accommodating.
Moon Opposite Neptune
Lives in the feelings. Inspiring and magnificently compassionate. Strong idealization of the family, past and traditional matters. Most imaginative when it comes to spirituality and psychology. Entrancing to others with an ability to draw them into a world of imagination and dreams. A high floater and full-blown dreamer, complete with built-in psychic abilities and probably given to visions.
Mercury Square Jupiter
You have the mind of a lawyer, always able to size up a problem and come up with a solution. Using your mind to negotiate obstacles and handle dilemmas (your own or those of others), is a great talent. You have an innate ability to guide and lead others through the hurdles and hassles of life. You could be very much in demand as a counselor. You are a problem-solver.
Venus Trine Jupiter
You have an innate love of the law and working things through, and you are not put off by problems and obstacles. On the contrary, you look forward to solving them. You have the ability to work with others, in particular regarding vocation or career guidance. You can advise and guide in matters requiring work-related decisions. Others find you a generous and loving person. You always share what you find and have a lucky streak too.
Mars Trine Pluto
You enjoy working with whatever is psychological — the hidden, vulnerable, sensitive areas of the mind and self. You can handle material that is sensitive or taboo without batting an eye. This interest in all that is psychological makes you an excellent teacher in the field. You have a natural grasp for the political, for handling the public, and you know how to get your way. Your drive in these areas amounts to a passion, and those around you may feel that you are often too intense. Power struggles are somewhat routine for you.
Saturn in Sagittarius
There is a lift given to your ambition. The innate coolness and conservatism of Saturn is warmed by the expansive nature of Sagittarius, giving you a philosophical and even inspirational attitude toward your duties and obligations. You also realise that long-term results can be made good only through careful planning.
Pluto in Scorpio
You tear through appearances in an effort to get beneath, behind, and at the heart or essence. You may find psychology, initiation, mysticism and the occult of great interest. Intense personal change and inner growth are lifelong habits.
Gemini on the 1st House Cusp
Gemini is concerned with connections, communication and logic — voice, thoughts, writing, and rational mental processes in general. It is also concerned with making comparisons, ‘twins’ and duplications of all kinds. Gemini is the communicator, the gossip of the zodiac, the collector of trivia. Gemini energy is unattached, independent, very inquisitive and changable.
Cancer on the 3rd House Cusp
Cancer is the mother of the zodiac, always making a home, protecting and providing a foundation for others. A sensitive sign where feelings and real experience count more than cold logic, it doesn’t get any more physical and emotional than this. Cancer energy is always nurturing, sensitive, tender and moody. It feeds on emotional comforts, and often has a strong attachment to the past and ancestry.
Leo on the 4th House Cusp
Leo energy is expressive, vital and exuberant. Often very artistic, and always theatrical and dramatic, this is the sign of creativity and the arts. Warm and big-hearted, Leo lives in full appreciation and celebration of the finer elements of life, bringing a dynamism and enthusiasm to everything it touches. This is the fearless ‘becoming’ stage, where things are done for their own sake, playfully and with pleasure.
Virgo on the 5th House Cusp
Virgo energy is analytical and precise, always separating out what is worthwhile and worth supporting from that which is outmoded and of no further use. A mental earth sign, here the mind takes control over matter. This is the sign of ‘ways and means’, implementation, instrumentation, physical effectiveness and efficiency. Virgo energy is always facilitating, often caring more for others than for itself.
Pluto in the 6th House
You tend to be radical when it comes to self-analysis, which includes health care, food, physical wellbeing. Serving and caring for yourself and others is a primary source of inner growth and change. You are sensitive to criticism.
Capricorn on the 8th House Cusp
Capricorn is the business head of the zodiac, for it is the very opposite of the emotional Cancer. Given to clear ambition and practical insight and vision, this sign always takes a distanced perspective and a cool appraisal. Deliberate and painstaking, sometimes to the point of austerity, Capricorn loves work and the hard-earned results. Status and material reward are very important.
Capricorn on the 9th House Cusp
Capricorn is the business head of the zodiac, for it is the very opposite of the emotional Cancer. Given to clear ambition and practical insight and vision, this sign always takes a distanced perspective and a cool appraisal. Deliberate and painstaking, sometimes to the point of austerity, Capricorn loves work and the hard-earned results. Status and material reward are very important.
Jupiter in the 10th House
It is natural for you to put your practical and managerial abilities to work. You can make a career out of your keen organizational skills and clear insight into how things work. Supervision and taking charge are your trademarks.
Pisces on the 11th House Cusp
Pisces energy runs deep and toward the mystical — whatever transcends the everyday world. This sign is understanding, patient and compassionate. Super-sensitive, it tends to absorb it’s surroundings like a sponge. The sign is very trusting, accepting and giving of itself for the sake of more important issues. It loves free-ranging activities which allow for some imaginative scope.
Lastly, there is no ‘one and only’ reading of the birth chart. The symbols of your horoscope change as your life changes - they mean one thing in the life of a youngster, and quite another in middle age. The mystery of the astrological symbols, and part of their beauty, is that they are flexible enough to be relevant and fixed enough to be meaningful, allowing you to approach your horoscope again and again with questions about past, present and future concerns.
Hello family and friends.
Just wanted to welcome you to my new life. A new blog in a sense. I’ve made a promise to blog and take a picture everyday. I really hope you guys enjoy. I’m sure it’s not going to be anything profound everyday, but i hope it will make you think in some way. Sure most blog will be personal, but a majority will be interesting and outthere… forgive me if i ramble.
Have a FANTASTIC 2010.
Love,
Jerry
I’ve decided to do a short series on my current and past Job Passions.
Change of Passions: Cartoonist
I find myself really enjoying performing, always have. I mean I’ve literally been on stage for my entire life! Either being in School plays, in chorus for school, city or county, and even my High School Show Choir. Heck even the month i was born i was supposed to be baby Jesus, though i was a little late via a c-section, thus considering being only a week old they didn’t want such a young baby being held by well young babies (teenagers)… thus the story of my life was told, always being too young. HA.
Well this leads me to my change of passions, by professions I’m a Chef, been cooking all my life, been doing it professionally for the past 6 years; and do NOT plan on stopping. Though i’ve been finding new passion over the past years with the social media craze. I’ve wanted to do so much with my life.
To date i’ve technically have done all of that and continue to do in some fashion.
Cartoonist
I have always drawn and sketched all of my life ever since i’ve been able to grip a pencil properly or not. AND I’ve always and still do ever since i was young watched cartoons LOVE them, and i mean love them i believe i have a great imagination because of four reasons.
1) I have two great parents, and no siblings so i’ve always had to make up things to play with or games to do
2) I watched cartoons/movies (esp looney tunes) at a young age. some say that it’s wrong for kids to watch that kinda stuff i say NO… early on kids need to understand real from fake violence, parents raise children on happy PBS stuff without violence then when they reach puberty and play games like GTA3 and Modern Warfare they’re surprised why they go and shoot people. Their parents never taught them any difference… but thats for another blog
3) I always drew! thats right i was the art kid in class never did anything, never studied, never paid any attention… well maybe some but not much, i even got in trouble for drawing on the desk when the teacher took my paper away. (she shoulda took my pencils too.)
4) well im a lefty. proud of that too… nothing more to add studies have shown that more lefties are artsy and imaginative than most other children.
Well this leads me to how i became a semi-non professional Cartoonist (okay amateur cartoonist)
I was unemployed and if you’ve ever been unemployed, you find out FAST that you have a LOT of time on your hands, and i mean alot. thus i started to blog and enjoy the onlineness that i was missing. i became VERY social. started drawing and sketching alot too… started making characters out of thin air and well started too act like a kid again and find my missing imagination….
I wanted to animate them, stories came to my head and everything, i started to read, study, investigate and learn all i could about animating. Mouth movement, walk cycles, talk cycles, jump cycles, 1/4s, 3/4, profiles i did it ALL! Even got the best animation software there is on the market, ToonBoom i HIGHLY recommend it; it’s the best, though costly.
I wrote and went through drafts upon drafts of scripts and characters till i found them, Pucker & Dobbs, Pucker is a porcupine and dobbs is a dog… great characters… made a show Pucker & Dobbs Cartoon Bonanza… first episode was ok, second was better, third wasn’t looney tunes but it was damn good from an amateur cartoonist.
Then i got a job. I did one more cartoon and that was that… slowly though im working on a new episode till come soon, but not for a couple months maybe five.
Before that I started an Animation Studio HappyMuffin, because i wanted to start a whole slew of Animated shorts and shows one specifically Mr Pickle it’s an animated live action talkshow with Mr Pickle and animated pickle as the host. Also even better you can view Pucker & Dobbs Cartoon Bonanza at http://puckeranddobbs.blip.tv/ they’re also available for download via iTunes!
Thanks for reading, Check tomorrow for my other job passions/fullfillments

Next year im going to post 1 blog and 1 picture per day!
On my twitter i vowed to take one picture everyday kinda like that guy did…
but i didn’t quite know how to facilitate that into blog or photo album form so i figured i’d utilize tumblr and post a picture one here…. now since i’m going to do this in the new year, i dont want to give this up and i know i will so in scientific theory it takes a MAXIMUM of 30 days to make or break a habbit… thus im starting a little shy but im doing my “resolution” now so that by 2010 i’ll have a great social habbit to fullfill!
